Network Support
 Responsible for providing 24/ 7 Network Support for the WAN operations with data center located in Mumbai with
supported national operations and international sites across all over the world.
 Involved in the management of the end to end Banking service setup riding over Leased Line, ISDN, VSAT and channelized
E1 & PRI. Accountable for troubleshooting lease line issues like reliability, CRC error and packet drop, ISDN, LAN & routing
problems.
 Verifying and configuring necessary configuration settings (like LL, ISDN, DHCP, DNS, CCM, Default routing, access-lists,
Finacle application, Port Status, etc.).
 Configuring the router after it is replaced and then upgrading the IOS. Backing up of core routers and core switches using
backup tools.
 Ensuring SLA is met, ensuring daily/weekly/month reports are generated & submitting to relevant managers.
 Logging Leased line calls, IP phone calls in HP Open View`s Service Desk in Service call menu with Standard Service impact
and priority. Ensure timely response & resolution of calls and generates daily and weekly report of the same.
 Monitoring WAN using whatsup gold and Network Node management tool also monitoring international branches on
whatsup Gold and seeking information from relevant ISP`s to resolve the issues like high utilization and low reliability.
 Assigning calls to HP vendors (via HP Open view) in case of hardware replacement and coordinating with the Wintel
Support team and the bank team from quick resolution of the problem.
 Troubleshooting various Cisco devices, as well as HP Procurve routers and switches as well as troubleshooting various
Cisco IP phones (7940 & 7060 series) and monitoring all the links (core links, primary/secondary links) including weekly
Backup of all the core devices and L1 troubleshooting.
 Monitoring network infrastructure using tools: HP Network Node Manager, HP Performance Insights, HP OVSD, Cisco Call
manager & Cisco SDM.
 Responsible for administer over 4000+ branches of Bank of Baroda Domestic as well as International which are connected
through MPLS, CDMA/VSAT and ISDN (as backup) links.
