May Day Royal Party Application
Calling all Port Coquitlam students in Grades 1, 2, 4 and 5 – represent your City as a May Day Royal Party member!
All positions are selected by a random draw.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2013
Applications are being accepted for:
 Flower Girls – Grades 1 & 2
 Princesses and Lancers (similar to a knight) – Grades 4 & 5
Duties will include participating in:
 Dance practices - Fridays - Flower Girls 4-4:40pm and Princess & Lancers 4:40-5:30pm
Starting Wednesday, February 15 at Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex (except Spring Break and Good Friday)
 May Day Selection Tea – Tuesday, April 9 (evening time TBC)
 Dress Rehearsal - Friday, May 3 8-11am
 May Day Banquet and Opening Ceremony – Friday, May 3 (evening times TBC)
 May Day Parade with the City float, followed by May Day luncheon – Saturday, May 11, 10:30am-1 pm
 Mother’s Day Picnic in Lions Park (optional) – Sunday, May 12, 8:30am-Noon
