How to request credit for courses or workshops taken outside of the district
Log into Eduphoria and choose the Workshop application.
Click on the My Portfolio link
Adding Entries to your Portfolio
Outside courses and conferences can be added to your portfolio, enabling you to keep an accurate record of your professional development events and earn credit for attending.
To add an outside entry in your portfolio, click the Add
New Portfolio Entry button under Portfolio Options at the bottom left of your screen.
This will open the New Portfolio Entry Wizard.
Select one of the following entry types:
Outside workshop or conference
Request for district professional development level
College course
Other
Follow the steps in the wizard and click the Next button to advance to the next screen.
Your first window allows you to specify what type of entry you are submitting.
The next window is the Entry Title; here you give your course a title and a brief description; click Next.
The next window is the Start Date Calendar and an End
Date Calendar; click on the times and days of your training and click Next.
The next window in the wizard is concerning requesting district credit for this entry; most people will click on the Yes option; then click
Next.
The Credit Types window appears next. Here you can enter the value of district credit you are requesting including any comments; click
Next.
This last window is very important, if you wish to attach documentation such as a certificate of completion of your training, choose the option for At a later time, after I modify the entry. This will give you a tab that will allow you to attach documents. If you choose Now, you will not be able to modify your entry. Click Finish to complete your request for credit.
In order to modify your request by attaching documents, click on your course located under the Portfolio Summary.

Once you have clicked the link to Submit for Approval, the Notes and Credit
Requested tabs will disappear. You will then await your supervisor’s approval.
