The county will be hosting two Household Material Recovery Days (formerly known as
Household Recycling Drop-Off Days) this spring, as follows:
Playland Park, Rye on Friday, March 18 (from 12 noon to 4 p.m.), and Saturday, March 19 (from
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
FDR State Park, Yorktown on Friday, April 8 (from 12 noon to 4 p.m.), and Saturday, April 9 (from
8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
The county anticipates the permanent Household Material Recovery Facility (or H-MRF) to open
in Valhalla this June or July.
