SATELLITE STATIONS ON THE N11 AT MOKOPANE AND ON THE R101 NORTH
AT POLOKWANE
TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER
Tenders are hereby invited from experienced contractors for National Route 1
Section 25: The supply, delivery and installation of control, monitoring and vehicle
testing equipment at Zebediela Traffic Control Centre at km 66.25, and satellite
stations on the N11 at Mokopane and on the R101 North at Polokwane, this project
being in the LIMPOPO Province.
Only tenders submitted from contractors who are registered on the Construction
Industry Developments Board’s (CIDB) Register of Contractors as a bona fide
Category 6 or above shall be considered. Joint Ventures with a combined rating of 6
or above shall also be considered.
Tender documents will be available as from Monday 12th October 2007 and may be
obtained from the Regional Manager, South African National Roads Agency Limited,
38 Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria (Tel: 012 426-6200) during the hours 08h00 to
16h00 (Monday to Friday), upon payment of a non-refundable fee of R500-00 per
set, excluding Volumes 1, 2a and 2b (FIDIC Conditions of Contract, COLTO
Standard Specifications, 1998 and SABS 1200 Standard Specifications).
Bank Guarantee Cheques are to be made payable to the South African National
Roads Agency Limited.
A compulsory inspection of the site shall be held on the 22nd October 2007 at 11:00
at the South African National Roads Agency Limited, Northern Regional Office, 38
Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria.
Only tenders from tenderers who attend the site inspection shall be considered.
All tenders and supporting documents shall be sealed in an envelope or package
clearly marked "TENDER NO. NRA N.001-250-2006/1 E-S: National Route 1 Section
25: The supply, delivery and installation of control, monitoring and vehicle testing
equipment at Zebediela Traffic Control Centre at km 66.25, and satellite stations on
the N11 at Mokopane and on the R101 North at Polokwane" and shall be delivered
by hand to the Regional Manager, South African National Roads Agency Limited, 38
Ida Street, Menlo Park, Pretoria, or by post in a separate envelope or package to The
Regional Manager, The South African National Roads Agency Limited, Private Bag
X17, Lynnwood Ridge, South Africa, 0040. Tenderers are advised to obtain
confirmation that the tender has been received whether delivered by hand, post or
courier.
The closing time for receipt of tenders is 14:00 on Wednesday 7 November 2007.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, e-mail, facsimile and late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on tender documentation that is supplied.

are stated in the tender data.
