Activities for the 40-words list
Each Resource Pack will include this 40-words list sheet which can be photocopied whenever needed and in whatever form. The words can be
cut up and laminated and used for a number of short activities: ‘warm ups’ and ‘fillers’. Children and teachers can also add their own words to
the list. We suggest that teachers prepare a few sets of the words and, depending upon the age of children, enlarge them. KS1 children may
find a size similar to their High Frequency Word cards easier to manage.
