unpleasant is going to
happen; threatening
Objective: Write a Spooky Story!
● Choose-Your-Story: Brainstorm ideas for a
spooky story.
● Everyone starts with the same first line.
● Every 1 ½ minutes, you will be given a word
that MUST be incorporated to your story!
● The word can be changed around to make
sense to your story.
○ Example: eat ---> eating, ate, eaten
● There will be 10 words in total!
Spooky Story Writing Rules
● You must always be writing!
● This is supposed to be a very short, quick
story. It does NOT necessarily have to
make sense.
● Make sure your writing is school
appropriate!
(It doesn’t exactly have to
be scary…)
