3
toxicological expertise to attendees of STOX conference. The US speakers will emphasize the
scientific and strategic approach to management of safety/risk assessment, and also provide an
insight into new emerging challenges to the pharmaceutical and biotech research.

Immediately following the formal STOX meeting, there will be an intensive Toxicology course from
8th to 12th October 2007 at the same venue. The course is designed to cover the entire field of
toxicology for those who want to advance their career in industrial toxicology and also to provide
guidance for those who plan to take the DABT examination. This course will be conducted by 12
eminent US professors who offer the Mid-America Toxicology course in US as a preparatory course
towards the American Board of Toxicology (ABT) examination. The STOX organizers are also
working with the ABT Board in US to conduct the ABT examination in INDIA in 2008.
Who Should Attend?
