1,000 WAYS TO BLESS YOUR NEIGHBOR
1. BE A BLESSING! Have you thought about what you could do to
bless someone? Have you already started? We want to hear your
stories! Email us your “Random Acts of Kindness” stories at
office@lakecitycrc.org or write them up and put them in the basket
at the Information Center.
2. HAVING TROUBLE THINKING OF WAYS TO BLESS SOMEONE? Don’t
worry; we will give you some ideas through a “Daily Challenge”!
Every day through July 27, an idea of how you can bless someone
will be posted on our Facebook page and sent via email.
MISSIONS UPDATE:
1. UPDATE FROM KACI ELLENS: Kaci is currently in Australia with YWAM
and has sent us this update. Please continue to pray for her ministry
there and the way God is working in her life.
“I am about to start my third week of lectures, we have studied the
nature of God and evangelism so far and this week is the heart of
God. Even though I've only been here for three weeks now, I have
learned so much and just been touched by God in ways I never
knew were possible... it is the most amazing thing! He is setting my
heart on fire and it's the best feeling! He has boosted my
confidence so much.. you probably wouldn't even recognize me
anymore haha! I have been pulled out of my shell so much already
it's incredible! I absolutely love it here; it is a beautiful country and
the people are amazing! I've never felt more at home than I do
right now. It's the craziest thing haha.”
2. CONGRATUALATIONS TO FRIENDS MINISTRY! They were this year’s
winner of WORLD magazine’s Hope Award for the Mid-West region!
Be sure to check out the featured article about Friends entitled
“Cultivating Change” on WNG.org and congratulate Mark
Mortenson on this great achievement.
