Also advised to spray metribuzin 15 days after planting if necessary. Informed that Bacterial wilt has no chemical control measures. Hence suggested to select seeds from healthy plants and also to dip the seedlings in 100 PPM (100mg/liter of water) streptomycin solution before transplanting. Advised to spray 3 g of Captan or Mancozeb per lit of water 3-4 times with 15 days interval for control of early blight. Advised to soak the seed at 60 degree C for 5-10 minutes before sowing.
