Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego, CA – On Saturday, October 26, 2013, the 13th Annual Dos
Equis XX Monster Bash presented by Malibu Black will take over the streets of East
Village transforming over eight blocks of San Diego’s downtown neighborhood into one of
the most spectacular Halloween events in both San Diego County and the West Coast.
Between 6:00 PM and Midnight attendees will enter through the Gates of Hell at 7th Avenue
and Market Street and party on with the undead on the streets of Island, 7th, and 8th Avenues.
Monster Bash has turned into the biggest Halloween celebration in Southern
California with each year topping the previous year by incorporating some of the most
stunning production elements and major entertainment. Rather than reproducing the same
event each year, Monster Bash reimagines three new Mega Clubs to ensure this epic block
party is unique and fresh. The highlighted Mega Clubs for this year are: The Birds of Prey
Club, the Gaslamp Asylum and the Dos Equis XX Masquerade.
As you enter the Birds of Prey Club along 7th Avenue, you will be greeted by the
electronic rhythms of DJ Dynamix joined by the beats of flapping feathers from the flocks of
crows looming overhead. As Kids at the Bar spin on stage, black feathered temptress
dancers will entertain you with seductive motions before devouring their male prey in a
twisted performance. Your body will pulse to the music as hundreds of dark beaks viciously
swoop above as this real life bird invasion comes to life!

When you make your way to Island Avenue you will be welcomed into the Gaslamp
Asylum Club with screams of disturbia, rants of the neurotic and toxic music from DJs Tony
Arzadon and Dani Deahl. Deranged doctors and unhinged nurses will run this nut house
creating a storm of uninhibited mayhem as if you’re watching a real life horror film.
Psychosis meets erotic as mental patients break restraints to dance atop hospital beds and run
the halls of this institution creating the unruliest mad house San Diego’s ever seen.
Don’t miss out on the Dos Equis XX Masquerade Club as this euphoric rave will flow
over with secrets and seduction as glamour and desire unite to create a night to never forget.
In every corner you will find mysterious acts and captivating entertainment from the top local
DJs including Chris Cutz and DJ G*Roy. Prepare to be awed as the shield of a mask lets
people live out their fantasies without restraint. As always, Monster Bash would not be the
Halloween extravaganza that it is without the outlandish CASH Costume Contest hosted by
MC Mikey Beats, but this year we are upping the ante by increasing the prize to a ridiculous
$5,000. Choose your costume wisely; it’s only after winning this irresistible prize that you
will fully be able to rest in peace.
