Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA)
All-State Academic Team
The Missouri Basketball Coaches Association (MBCA) will
honor SIXTY (60)
SENIOR GIRLS AND SIXTY-SIX (66) BOYS who have been
nominated by their
Coaches and certified by their High School Administration
as 2010 MBCA ACADEMIC
ALL-STATE STUDENT ATHLETES. They have met both Academic and
Basketball
Criteria to attain this high honor.
The Academic All-State Banquet will be held on Sunday
April 18, 2010 at
the University of Missouri Reynolds Alumni Center in
Columbia at 1:00 PM.
This is the largest Academic All State Class in twenty-six
years that of the
event has been held.
The athletes must have scored a minimum of a 27 on the ACT
and played in at least 75% of the total season contest
minutes.
Plato had two players qualify for this prestigious event,
Landon Justice and Logan Justice sons of Andy and Robin
Justice of Roby. Landon and Logan have both played
basketball for four years with the last three years as
Varsity players. The Eagles finished 19-9 this past
season. “If Landon and Logan weren’t twins they probably
wouldn’t look so much a like”. Coach Supancic
The event honors all five classes in the state.
