This interdisciplinary seminar provides an opportunity for the student to conduct an in depth investigation of selected topics related to human values and the influence of the sciences on those values. Classroom activities emphasize and help develop skill for public speaking. A seminar paper and oral presentation/defense are required to enhance the student's skills in analysis, critical thinking and communication, This course satisfies a humanities/ethics requirement in the General Education Core.
