My Innovation brief with Nike is to design performance enhancing
apparel. This is achieved by executing a research-based Industrial
Design process for the Advanced Innovation Team. My major
design projects have been:
Track and Field Swift Suit (used by Nike Olympic athletes)
Stand-Off Marathon Singlet (textile and garment)
Speed Skating Swift Skin (used by Nike Long and Short
Track Olympic skaters)
Speed Skating Nike Sphere Warm-Ups (textile and garments)
Cycling Time-Trial Swift Spin (used by Lance Armstrong and
the US Postal/Discovery Team)
Nike PreCool Vest (launched at the Beijing Olympics)

My primary task was to research and produce revolutionary
concepts for the infantry soldier. I was responsible for the
design of Integrated Clothing and Equipment. The philosophy
was to consider the soldier as a system, improving integration
and generating duel function products.

Design of Motorcycle Suits Boots and Gloves.
Dainese Contracted me to design a collection of race suits,
leather jackets, trousers, gloves, and touring jackets. The
collection was launched in Milan then taken to market globally.
1991/93 PINEAPPLE dance wear Sportswear Fashion
Two years full-time employment, garment and graphic design.
Also producing the company brochure.
1989/90 FITCH RS design Consultants
Nine month industrial placement working as a designer in
Corporate Identity, retail and product design. Clients included
Ford, Southern Electric, Bank of Ireland and Bayer Electronics.
