Research on the Green Combined Depressor for Flotation Separation of Lead from Copper The study of a combined depressor for flotation separation of lead from copper has been carried on aim at solving the copper-lead separation problem. Test results show that the depressor of CMC (Carboxy Methylated Cellulose) or sodium sulfite perform an important function on selectivity inhibit of the galena flotation, when combine the two reagents above, the selectivity depressing effect on the galena is even more. And the further test results show when the CMC and sodium sulfite proportion is 1:4, selectivity co-inhibition on galena was the strongest, and the content of lead in the copper concentrate is the lowest. Closed-circuit test show that under the condition of certain slurry pH value, with the best proportion of CMC and sodium sulfite as depressor, the copper concentrate with 28.23% copper, 4.12% lead can be obtained , and the copper recovery rate is 84.87% ; Lead concentrate containing 68.12% lead, 0.86% copper was obtained, the lead recovery was 92.20%, realize the efficient separation of copper and lead.
