COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is the first of a two semester, calculus based, study of physics
for math, physics, science, and engineering majors covering
mechanics, heat, fluids, and wave motion.

HOMEWORK:
Homework will be assigned weekly. The solutions will be
discussed in class and posted on Campus Cruiser (Shared Files).
Homework should be an integral part of your studies. The exams
will resemble the homework.
ATTENDANCE:
You are responsible for all material covered in your absence.
Exams and Lab Reports can be made-up for legitimate reasons.
Attendance is mandatory in order to receive credit for Lab
Reports.
WITHDRAWAL:
If for some reason, you must withdraw from class, you must
initiate the process. Please discuss this with me to explore options.
Last date to drop a class, Saturday 16th of April, 2011.
ACADEMIC HONESTY:
Any instances of Academic Dishonesty will NOT be tolerated.
Referral to the Vice President for Instruction will be only one of
many consequences.
