Special Education Teacher
General Education Teacher is
responsible for grading/ reporting progress
to parents for subject matter on the report
card, in collaboration with Special Education
teacher.
General Education teacher is responsible
for reporting progress to Special Education
teacher for subject matter, including when the
IEP dictates modified curriculum.
If a student is integrated for social
reasons only, the General Education teacher in
collaboration with the Special Education
teacher is responsible for providing a grade as
it pertains to the IEP.

General Education teacher, in
collaboration with the Special Education
teacher, is responsible for
grading/reporting progress to parents for
subject matter on the report card.
If a student is integrated for social
reasons only, the General Education teacher,
in collaboration with the Special Education
teacher, is responsible for providing a grade as
it pertains to the IEP.
Consult with the appropriate members of
the IEP team or Special Education teacher, as
needed, to help make decisions about
modifications to the curriculum.
General Education teacher is not
responsible for assigning a grade







Administrative
Special Education Teacher is responsible
for grading/ reporting goal progress to parents
through IEP meetings, etc.
Special Education Teacher is responsible
for monitoring progress of student along with
General education teacher.
If a student is integrated for social reasons
only, the Special Education teacher is
responsible for collaboration with the General
Education teacher as it pertains to the IEP. A
form to monitor progress on IEP goals will be
provided to General Education teacher.

Special Education teacher, in collaboration
with the General Education teacher, is
responsible for grading/reporting progress to
parents through IEP meetings, etc.
If a student is integrated for social reasons only,
the Special Education teacher, in collaboration
with the General Education teacher, is
responsible for providing a grade as it pertains
to the IEP.

The Special Education Teacher is
responsible for grading/reporting progress to
parents on the report card.
Special Education teacher will provide
appropriate reports when needed.
Oskaloosa Community School District
grading scale will be applied to a modified
curriculum.








grading criteria:

Additional or different instructional or assessment accommodations and/or modifications based on documentation of interventions used prior

Placement of student – include documentation of rationale – taking into account their grade level and instructional level; including their functional needs

The length of instructional time or pacing of components and/or GLB
