Location: As approved. a) Brief Overview of Course b) The content of CHM 119 Practical includes Quantitative Chemical Analysis: weighing and measurement of volume, preparations of standard solutions; acid-base titration, oxidation reduction reactions, precipitation complexometric titrations and gravimetric analysis. c) Course Objectives/Goals At the end of this practical course, students are expected: (i). To be introduced to laboratory practices, and to impart to students experimental skills in chemistry. (ii). Mandatory 75% class attendance. No students shall be allowed into the class 10 minutes after scheduled time.
