Duties & Responsibilities :
Pressure Parts & Non-Pressure Parts Works: Erection
Estimating material, construction, and labour costs, and project timescales. Involved in producing due diligence surveys. Liaising with local contractors. Load assessments of new and existing structures. Giving PowerPoint presentations to managers and clients.
Communicating with government agencies and local authorities. Evaluating, organizing
& prioritizing work within the overall project schedule. Preparing sketches, marking-up drawings and writing specifications etc. Engineering technicians and IT staff. Structural inspections/assessments and making appropriate
Recommendations. Providing expert technical advice including structural reports, crack monitoring.
Technical Responsibilities:
Mobilization of various contractors for Fabrication and Erection works in Boiler ans
ESP in Thermal Power Plant.
Receive the drawing about Boiler, ESP, Belt conveyor etc. Read the drawing according to that prepares Bill of Materials (BOM).
Arranging and distribute the raw Materials for making of BOILER and ESP Components and Accessories.
Allocation of various works in Boiler, ESP & FHS (FUEL HANDLING SYSTEM).
Following the IBR rules during pressure parts erection in Boiler and also arranges a visit for ground inspection.
Planning the erection sequence & follow the working activities.
The work should follow the Safety Working Procedure (SWP).
Singing of Protocols, Records, Punching check list prior to Hydro test and witnessing the hydro test and hand over to commissioning dept.
Involve in Preparation of Quality plan & Implemented in various stages of Erection.
Involved in Supervision of Erection works of Static and Rotating Equipments such as feed pumps, fans, blowers etc.
Assisting commissioning Team in Pre – commissioning .
