In class you will create an alphabet book for our Ancient Egypt unit. For this project, you will create a book with each page having a letter of the alphabet on it. For each letter, A-Z, you will come up with a word or phrase from this unit that goes with that letter. Write 3 complete sentences using that word. You will illustrate or find pictures from the internet for each of these pages. Each page should include a large letter from the alphabet that is colored and/or decorated, THREE sentences relating to Ancient Egypt and page number. Each letter must be about a different aspect of Ancient Egypt. You may only have 3 words per topic. Topics are listed on the back. An extra 5 “WOW” points can be added to your project grade for going beyond the listed expectations and doing exceptional work. (Grounds for “wow” points could be, but are not limited to, using images from magazines, using paint or glitter, or anything else that makes me say “WOW!”) You will be given 3 days of class time to work on this but you may need to do some work at home.
