Supported by this production strength, Airborne is expanding its business into USA, and is looking to appoint an In-store Demo Coordinator, based in New York. For more information about the company please check their Website: www.airborne.co.nz The In-store Demo Coordinator The In-store Demo Coordinator will report to the Marketing Director who is based in New Zealand. Initially there will be no direct reports, although that situation may change with the development of the business in United States. Airborne will develop and execute the business plan, achieve agreed sales objectives, and develop existing and new channels, initially in New York. The preferred candidate will have experience, preferably selling into the boutique or high-end specialty food products in independent stores and/or supermarkets and will deal with distributors, sub-distributors and retail store buyers and category managers. Personal Skills: A proven record of connecting with consumers in store: 1. Communicating the features of Airborne Honey 2. Have a warm friendly and easily approachable disposition 3. Have the ability to close sales. Excellent record keeping and recording comment from the tasting session Strong planning ability and well organized. Planning: Plan ahead and book tasting sessions in the stores identified for the Airborne Tasting programme in. Complete the Foodee Application after each tasting session. Consumer Awareness: Raise awareness about Airborne Honey Demonstrable expertise in driving a Tasting team to superior performance based on data and analysis. Remuneration Package: (to be discussed) The candidate will be compensated with a base contract in the range of USD $25.00 per hour, plus a variable bonus of 20 % based on achievement of targets.
