From the Blood Donor Clinic

There is an immediate need for blood donors in Manitoba because
winter storm conditions have forced the cancellation of two mobile
clinics, resulting in a loss of more than 180 blood donations. The March
18 blood donor clinic in Erickson and March 19 clinic in Morden were
closed for the safety of our donors, staff and volunteers.
Between Tuesday, March 19 and Saturday, April 6, Canadian
Blood Services needs to collect more than 4,000 blood donations in
Manitoba—and right now roughly half of those appointments are still
available. Please help us to maximize every clinic in the next few weeks
to ensure an optimal blood supply by helping us to fill the 20
appointments open at Steinbach EMC today, (was Thursday) and the 60
additional appointments needed on April 25th in Steinbach.

