Tropical Surrender The amber sun is sinking down The day is done as evening surrounds Sounds of the day fade off with the light The casual surrender to a tropical night There’s a big ole moon; it’s on the rise A pale silhouette on a purple sky Bird wings gently waving a friendly goodbye See you tomorrow in the bright blue sky Lights from the shore twinkling white Waves lullaby is singing good night The sea is calling; softly calling my name Shadows fade like spirits floating away A summer breeze soft on my face Heaven reveals its twilight embrace Shooting stars are playing chase all up above A tropical potion for nature and love Steel Drums drifting out from the shore Rhythm of the island’s magical rapport Breeze in the rigging is tapping out the time A chorus of enchantment Caribbean style Fingers of the sea are caressing the hull Hear an echoing cry from a far away gull Reflections waver like ghosts on the gentle waves It’s a prism of nature; a moonlight bouquet Splendor of the moment sends you on your way © 2006 J.
