In July 2013 the Yarra Ranges Staff Development program was developed. This program was designed to provide staff the opportunity to improve existing skills in Leadership, Branch Operations, Teamwork, Business Development, Presentation Skills, Coaching as well as Networking. Along with the development of these skills, as a group, we were to organise a community engagement event to raise funds for a charity of their choice. We had to select a local charity to support; liaise with them to create awareness of their organisation or charity & help fundraise for a project of their choice. The - staff members involved in the 1st program are; Aimee te Broekhorst, Manager Monbulk Carolyn Damen, CSO Wandin-Seville Corey Lim, CRO Blackburn South Emily Sharp, CRO Yarra Junction - Maria Bell, CRO Upwey Erica McMenamin, CRO Lilydale Jayne Matthews, CSO Healesville Kellie Mitchell, CRO Wandin-Seville I am pleased to announce that the charity we have chosen to support is Bridge Builders. Bridge Builders is a not-for profit youth organisation based in Lilydale, delivering youth services to the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, and around the State. “Bridge Builders aim is to influence and grow the lives of young people, and we use events and business enterprise as a way of engaging and developing young people”. Bridge Builders are working hard to accommodate as many community events and functions in their pavilion and that’s where we the Bendigo Bank community come in to the picture. Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for this project to proceed and here is how you can help! On Saturday 11th October the Yarra Ranges Development group is holding a Trivia Night, and we would love for you to assist us in supporting Bridge Builders with either participating in the night, donating goods for auction or making a donation. Please block out your calendar and tell your work colleagues, family, friends & customers. We would love your Support! See the attached flyer for further details…… BBL Logo
