US Foreign Relations During the 20th Century: Pivotal Leaders and Key
Events
This course offers a panoramic view of the evolution of US foreign relations
during the 20th century through an in-depth examination of the pivotal leaders and
key events that shaped it. The concluding lessons are devoted to several
dimensions that are likely to influence the future development of America's
standing in the world: relations with Europe, China, the Middle East and the
challenges involved in promoting human rights.
Grading will be determined by a final exam.
