Thomas Olivo COURSE GOALS: Students will develop proficiency in reading, understanding, and accurately interpreting technical drawings as applied to industrial electricity and mechanical maintenance. COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: 1. Visualize multiview drawings from various industrial disciplines. 2. Sketch simple multiview and pictorial drawings. 3. Demonstrate a knowledge of drawing nomenclature, symbols, notes and abbreviations. 4. Read and describe drawing data pertaining to dimensioning, tolerance and surface finish techniques as used on mechanical, architectural, manufacturing, electrical, piping, welding and installation drawings.
