2015 Corn Queen Contest
“Those Summer Nights"
The Cairo CornStalk Queen Pageant will be held June 19th at the Cairo Community Center at
6:00pm. Please fill out the attached information and be ready to participate at 5:45. The pageant is
open to girls ages 4 to 10. We will crown the queen at the conclusion of the pageant and all participants
will receive a participation treat. We encourage all participants to ride in the parade to represent the
pageant on Saturday. Please have the form filled out and drop off to the City office by June 18th. If you

The Queen candidates will be judged on the following:
1. Overall appearance, we encourage you to use this year’s CornStalk theme as
inspiration for your outfit.
2. Tell us in some way (essay, picture, speech) what you enjoy about Cairo and what
ideas you have to improve our community.
3. How you answer a question about yourself in front of a small crowd.
