General terms and conditions of participation for foreign participants
1. Time and place of the event:
The exhibition will be held at the State Demonstration and Exhibition Center of Armament and Military Equipment (further –
Exhibition Center, EC) FSE “Nizhny Tagil Institute of Metal Testing” on September 8-11, 2011.

7. Types of participation:
- Exhibiting with area rental with (or without) demonstration of operating and combat features of arms and
military equipment;
- Distant participation (advertisement, information, commercial offers on “Distant participation” stand and in
Official Exhibition Catalogue);
- Business visit.
8. Application and registration:
The following documents regulate the participation:
- General terms and conditions of participation.
- Contract, in compliance with form 1.
- Participant’s Profile, in compliance with form 2.
- Stand layout, completed according to form 3.
- List of exhibits, completed according to form 4A (military oriented exhibits) and 4B (non-military exhibits).
Filled and certified Contract in duplicate, Participant’s Profile, Stand layout and list of exhibits are
mailed to the organizer of the exhibition FSE “Nizhny Tagil Institute of Metal Testing”. Contract, Participant’s
Profile, Stand layout and list of exhibits must be duplicated by e-mail or fax. Distant participants and visitors
mail Contract and Participant’s Profile.
All documents should be filled in and printed properly.
The organizer of the exhibition (further - Organizer) after receiving Contract registers the applicant as a
Participant of the exhibition (further - Participant) and mails the copy of agreed Contract and fee payment
instruction. The fee payment instruction is duplicated by fax.
Organizer and Participant admit legal force of signatures, seals on fax copies of Contract, fee payments and other
documents.
Applicant confirms the acceptance of all items of present participation terms by tendering the
Contract to take part in the exhibition. Any other agreements, special admittances and terms are need to
be approved by Organizer in writing.
9. Terms of payment
The payment for the participation in the exhibition is performed by bank transfer to the settlement
account of Organizer. All bank fees are paid by the Participant.
For participation in the exhibition the Participant will be charged for:
- registration fee
- exhibition area rental
- passes
- additional equipment and services
- operating and combat features demonstrations of military equipment and armament (in the presence of
effort and consumables provided by Organizer in accordance with separate contract)
For distant participation the Participant will be charged for:
- registration fee
- advertisement, information arrangement and commercial proposals on “Distant participation” stand.
The registration fee includes the following costs:
- exhibition advertising expenses
- organizational and other preliminary expenditures
- posting of information about the Participant the Official Catalogue
- one copy of the Official Catalogue (Official Catalogue will be sent by mail to Distant Participants)
- posting of information about the Participant in the exhibition electronic catalogue on Organizer’s site:
www.ntiim.ru
Exhibition area rental includes charges for:
- Maintenance of indoor area and open grounds
- Exhibition area general lighting
- Fire prevention and public order security
- General security
- General exhibition area security during non-working time
- Indoor and outdoor passage ways and common areas cleaning
- Waste disposal during exhibition build-up, maintaining and dismantling.
- Maintenance staff (administrators, inspectors, ticket collector, electricians, sanitary technician and etc)
- Stand rental (only exhibition area in the hall, equipped with a stand).
All payments are made in accordance with prices, in Form 1 of the present terms. Taxes are included.

All non-cash payments are made in euro to the currency account of the FSE “NTIMT” or in Russian
currency according to the exchange rate set by the Russian Central Bank to the date of payment to the ruble
account of the FSE “NTIMT”.
All cash payments are made in Russian currency according to the exchange rate of euro set by the
Russian Central Bank to the date of payment.
The cost of additional services ordered during the exhibition operation will be doubled. All payments
for extra service and equipment ordered during the exhibition operation are made in cash. FSE “NTIMT” cannot
guarantee the delivery of extra services and equipment during the exhibition operation.
ATTENTION: DISCOUNT!
If all documents are submitted and all payments are completed by May 31, 2011 – 25% discount on
exhibition area rental price takes effect, by July 31, 2011 – 20%, by August 10, 2011 – 10%.
Attention! If taking part in the demonstration (except for the parade) - 50% discount is applied to
the price of open areas rental.
If Participant fails to meet the deadlines, Organizer is entitled to withdraw Contract. Participant will not
be reimbursed for remittances already made. Participant is entitled to withdraw Contract, in this case, Participant
must inform the Organizer about withdrawal application in writing. If Participant submits the official withdrawal
application before August 15, 2011, Participant will be refunded for all payments except for the registration fee.
If Participant withdraws Contract from August 15 through 30, 2011, the Participant is liable for a forfeit
of 50% of all payments already made, which means that only 50% of all payments will be refunded. In both
cases Organizer will place Participant`s information into the Official Catalogue and on Distant participation
stand and send one copy of the Catalogue to Participant. In case of Contract withdrawal after August 30, 2011,
Participant will not be refunded for payments. In case Organizer will not deliver completely the ordered services
already paid for in proper time, the payments will be reimbursed to Participant.
10. Pass procedure and exposure on the military exhibitions.
In order to obtain permission for temporary importation of military oriented exhibits into the Russian
Federation, Participant will submit by May, 31 2011 to the Demonstration Exhibition Center the list of military
oriented exhibits in accordance with form 4A of the present terms in Russian and in English. The list includes
full names of military engineering items. To determine whether the exhibit is a military oriented one, it is
necessary to use the active normative and legal legislation of the country, where the Participant is registered.
Also together with the list it is necessary to present to the Demonstration Exhibition Center all the materials in
paper (photos, booklets, advertisements, etc.)
11. Armament operating and combat features demonstration.
The exhibition center is equipped with a track with obstacles for testing of track and wheeled military
vehicles, demonstration grounds, water basin as well as testing ground and aircraft base with landing field and a
stock of aircrafts and helicopters, these objects allow demonstration of:
- Running features of armored, engineering and automobile vehicles;
- Combat features of armament and military engineering of land forces (tanks, armored carriers, artillery
systems and other) with fire range up to 50 km;
- Combat features of aviation and aerial ordnance (air bombs, unguided air missiles, cannon firings);
- Operations of Ministry of Emergency situations under extreme situations
- Special aviation engineering.
The demonstration program includes:
- Self-propelled vehicles parading in front of the tribunes;
- Armament combat features demonstration by firing on the testing ground under the programs of
participants;
- Self-propelled vehicles running characteristics demonstration on the testing route;
- Fire-fighting and rescue equipment demonstration on the special grounds under the programs of
participants;
- Operational characteristics of engineering on demonstration grounds, within the fixed areas.
Before the Final repetition Participant will be allowed to conduct required trainings. Any training
requirements must be indicated in the demonstration program too.
Trainings and demonstrations of the vehicles operating characteristics are free of charge except
the efforts of Organizer staff and expendables of Organizer reserve.
Participant is able to use his own expendables or make out an order at Organizer. To use its own
expendables participant is required to give forms, tickets and certificates or any other documents to confirm their
accordance with design, normative and technical documentation. Dangerous chemical substances are strictly
prohibited.
Attention! If programs provide for efforts of Organizer staff and expendables of Organizer reserve,
submission deadline for service and expendables is August 25, 2011. Participant must submit all payments
during 10 days after the invoice was issued.
In order to make comments during the demonstrations Participant should submit the announcement text
printed both in Russian and in English. The total reading time of both Russian and English texts must be 10
seconds for the parade-demonstration. To comment on the demonstration of the operating characteristics, battle

and combat features total reading time of both Russian and English texts must be no longer than the
demonstration itself.
Announcement text printed and on electronic carrier must be sent by August 31, 2011.
12. Stand building and allocation
Participant may order indoor expose area including 2.5 m high wall panels, carpets and standard set
(fascia of Participant name with black letters inscription on the white background, plastic table 800x800mm, two
plastic chairs, one tab, and one waste basket). In case of indoor expose area ordering, Participant should submit
the required area and the stand layout (form 3) by August 30, 2011.
Minimum available indoor exhibition area is 4 sq.m.
Participant may order additional stand equipment (form 1) of the present terms.
In case of individual stand building Participant should submit the stand layout by August 25, 2011 for
Organizer’s consideration. Organizer is entitled to prohibit inadequately constructed stands.
Stands will be reserved and allocated by Organizer according to expose area prepayment – 25% of
charge, date of application, exhibit profile, and exhibition organization layout and expose area availability.
Particular stand requirements will be considered where possible.

13. Joint stands
Participant-organizer of the joint stand is liable for all payments of all Co-participants and damages
caused by Co-participants. All firms, presenting their exhibits at the joint stand are considered to be Coparticipants. Present General terms entirely apply to Co-participants . Participant must submit to Organizer a list
of all Co- participants, their phone numbers, faxes, mail and e-mail addresses. Co-participant shall be subjected
to present General terms and conditions of participation and is allowed to pay the participation separately.
Attention! The registration fee must be paid by each Co-participant.
14. Cargo transportation (delivery) and custom registration
Transportation of the exhibits and other consignments is implemented by Participant independently.
To facilitate transportation and formalities carrying out “Hansa-Messe-Speed Messeabwicklungs
GmbH” is recommended.

Cargo may be delivered to the exhibition by the automobile-, railway- and air transport.
The RW delivery requisites:
- carriage – Staratel station of the Sverdlovsk RW, code 770508,
- container – Nizhny Tagil station of the Sverdlovsk RW, code 770103, consignee: FSE “NTIMT” , code 1123.
The consignments may be delivered by air to Koltsovo Airport, Yekaterinburg.
The reception of the consignment at the station or airport and its delivery to Organizer is implemented
by Participant`s representative.
The Station – Organizer transfer by trucks and cargo handling may be ordered in accordance with the Price list.
Attention! All exhibits and stand fitting materials will be customs cleared under temporary import bond and
must be re-exported from Russia after the closing of the exhibition. Any of them, if spent or purchased on the
territory of Russia, must be customs cleared in accordance with common regulations of Russian Federation
Customs.
To facilitate the procedure of customs clearance, Participant is submitted to the Exhibition Center by
fax; +7 (3435) 47-53-29, 43-90-11 or by e-mail: gdvc@ntiim.ru the following:
- Custom invoice or any other document confirming the importable exhibits value;
- Letter of conveyance with notes about Russian customs clearance;
- List of expendables and advertisements to distribute, quantity and each item value is indicated.
All expenses on customs documentation execution, customs duty and VAT are paid by the Participant,
according to the bill, presented by the Exhibition Center.

15. Passes for staff, Participant’s representatives. Vehicles passes.
- Staff passes
During the construction and dismantling periods Participant`s workers, ancillary staff and vehicles will be
admitted to the Exhibition Area territory free of charge. The Participant is liable to submit workers and
ancillary staff list, indicating data of construction and dismantling on the company blank with the head of the
company signature.
- Participants’ passes to the Exhibition territory
The Participant can purchase two passes for officials and necessary quantity of passes for stand workers and
technical staff.
Attention! The technical staff consists of persons taking part at the exhibits operational characteristics
demonstration (drivers, mechanical engineers and operators).
It is obligatory to indicate name, last name, position of the officials in Participant Questionnaire, item 7 (form
2) to arrange name badges.
Personal passes are valid for the period of operation of the Exhibition.
Transfer of a pass to another person is strictly prohibited.
-Vehicles passes
The Participants may purchase necessary quantity of vehicle passes, which entitle their holders to drive to the
requiring payment parking area.
Transport access to the Exhibition during the event is prohibited.
16. Exhibition catalogue
The Official Catalogue based on the Participant’s information will be published by the exhibition
opening.
The Official Catalogue entry includes Participant’s logo and text about Participant both in Russian and in
English (no more than 900 signs, including punctuation marks and spaces) and also the name of the organization,
address, phone, fax, etc. English text is represented by the Participant. The Publisher has the right to edit texts
under the Participant coordination. In case of absence of English text the Publisher makes translation free of
charge, but does not coordinate it with the Participant.
Participant`s logo is placed to the Official Catalogue only if it is sent to the Organizer together with the
text about Participant.
The logo in the Official Catalogue is printed in the black-and –white variant and must be sent to the
Organizer already printed or on the floppy disk 3.5″ or CD-R (RW). Preferable formats: vectorial EPS, CDR or
raster TIF, JPG in size no less than 30mm with resolution no less than 600 dpi for color model GRAYSCALE
and 1200 dpi for black-and-white logo images (1-bit, bitmap). In other case the Publisher will not print the logo
and reimburse indemnification for its absence.
Information for publication in the Official Catalogue filled in according to item 6 of form 2
(Participant`s Questionnaire) and requirements of this item is sent by the Participant by mail, preferable format
RTF and duplicated by fax: +7 (3435) 43-90-11.
The cost of obligatory entry publication and one copy of the Official Catalogue is included into the
registration fee.
The registration fee payment and the information entry deadlines are August 14, 2011 otherwise, the
information about the Participant will not be published in the Official Catalogue.
Information sent after August 21, 2011 is not published. Claims are not accepted.
To publish the advertisement in the Official Catalogue the Participant is to conclude a separate treaty
with the Official Catalogue Publisher.

17. Press conferences, conferences and presentations
If the Participant intends to hold a conference, seminar, presentation or other event during the
exhibition, the required room rental must be paid. The Participant should submit the name and topic of the event,
speaker’s name and surname, the projected date to the Organizer by August 25, 2011 in order to include it into
the exhibition schedule. There is a Presentation hall available to rent with the capacity of 120 and 200 seats. The
hall is equipped with the computer, projection apparatus and acoustics.
Minimum rent time is 1 hour.
The Organizer is entitled to correct the date and time of the action after coordination with the
Participant.

18. Advertising
The advertising of all kinds is allowed only within the stand rented by the Participant and in the
interests of the Participant only.
For additional fee in accordance with form 1 the Participant is allowed:
- To place advertising billboards (height 1.7m, width 2.7m) and banners (height 1m, length 8m)

- To order advertising boards and banners at the Organizer. The sketches of advertising boards and banners
should be submitted by August 25, 2011.

- To organize promotion action (only 2 people involved) at the Exhibition territory.
- To advertise via loudspeaker system at the Exhibition. The Participant should submit to the Organizer
advertisement-printed or recorded on audio-cassettes.
- To advertise via television net at the Exhibition. The Participant should submit to the Organizer video films
recorded on video-cassettes, format DV or DVCAM or on DVD disks.
Attention! The advertising material acceptance deadline is August 25, 2011.
The Participant can order video film shooting about the Participant’s demonstration at the exhibition
and its placement on the Organizer website.
19. Admission to the exhibition
At arrival the Participant’s person in charge should have following documents:
- Payment commission with a bank mark confirming that all payments for participation have been
completed, Contract with original signatures and the seal;
- Insurance policies;
- List of participants indicating the category (official person, stand-man (woman), technical staff), position,
name and surname, date and place of birth, passport data.
- Letter of attorney, executed in a proper way, confirming the Participant`s person in charge has the right to
undersign bilateral Acceptance Certificate of work fulfillment and other documents, concerning
participation.
- Complete list of imported exhibits, approved by the head of the enterprise;
- Documents confirming exhibits conformity with design, technical documentation (a ticket, a form), that
they are free from flammable, explosive or poisonous substances;
- Agreed railway circuit design of large-size exhibits restraint on the moving stock (in case of exhibits
delivery and consignment by railway).
20. Construction and dismantling
Exhibits should be installed and arranged by the Participant. Construction and dismantling periods are
given in item 4 of the present terms. Packing materials must be removed or registered in the storehouse in
accordance with prices (form 1) of the present terms 1 day before the exhibition opening. The construction must
be completed 20 hours before the exhibition opening. If the Participant fails to occupy his stand 12 hours before
the exhibition opening, the Organizer is entitled to dispose of it at discretion and the Participant’s payments will
not be reimbursed. If dismantling work is not finished in time, the Organizer is entitled to remove the exhibits
and place them in storage at the Participant’s expense. The Participant should pay storage costs according to
storage rent prices (form 1) of the present terms.
All exhibition equipment is rented by the Participant according to the Acceptance Certificate and must
be returned in good condition after the exhibition closing. Otherwise the Participant should cover the caused
damage. The Participant will be liable for 300% of lost or damaged equipment’s cost.
The Participant is not allowed to convey the rented expose area or its part to third persons and make
rented stand exchange without the Organizer written agreement.
The exhibits’ exportation will be permitted after the rented equipment is returned and Acceptance
Certificate is signed by the Organizer.
Attention! Before the exhibition is over dismantling is prohibited.
21. Stand security
Each Participant provides security for stands exhibits and equipment at the arrival and during the
working time. The Organizer provides security for stands, exhibits and equipment at night from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m.
After the working day of the exhibition is over, the Participant hands over the stands and outdoor areas to the
security. Valuable, easy removed objects should be locked up at night. It is advised to take out suitable insurance
to cover any damages that may occur.
22. Fire prevention and Safety measures
The Participant must adhere to fire prevention rules and safety precautions as well as sanitary and
quarantine codes valid at the exhibition area and responsible for violating them.

The Participant must meet all Organizer requirements and execute instructions according to the
mentioned above rules, codes and demands.
Any actions of the Participant during construction, maintaining and dismantling periods should not be
hazardous for property and health of visitors, the Organizer and other Participants.
All the exhibits should be accompanied with certificates confirming that they are free from flammable,
explosive or poisonous substances and meet technical and design specifications.
The Participant is required:
- To appoint a responsible person for safety precautions execution at the period of handling and the
demonstration;
- To provide safety requirements execution at the period of handling, construction and dismantling;
- To provide safe vehicles running to the open grounds and at the period the vehicles leave the open grounds
to participate in the demonstration;
- To provide Participants` drivers following instructions of the Organizer motion service heads;
- To provide safety of visitors inspecting the exhibits at the open grounds;
- To organize preparation and demonstration of vehicles according to every day demonstration working
program;
- To provide drivers to get permission to their transport facilities, vehicles technical running order inspection
and etc, demonstration run out.
23. Insurance
The compulsory insurance contracts, which the Participant must have to be admitted to the Exhibition, are as
follows:
- Civil liability risk insurance against damages caused to the health or property or environment from the
date of delivery to the date of exportation;
- Participant`s personnel insurance against death and injuries as a result of an accident.
The property and personnel insurance is implemented by the Participant independently as well as other risks
insurance according to Russian legislation.
Insurance contracts are considered to be acceptable, if the insurance company releases to present a
regressive demand to the Organizer. By the way, it concerns all possible damage cases on which insurance
contract attaches.
The Participant may choose an insurance company independently.
24. Service
Official Tour Agent “EXPO-TOUR” Service Center offers its services in hotel accommodation, meals-service,
transportation, cultural programs and other:
- Hotel booking in Nizhny Tagil and Yekaterinburg
- Meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Daily transfer Hotel-Exhibition-Hotel
- Escort for participants and guests from the airport or the railway station to the place of accommodation
- Air-, railway ticket booking
- Cultural programs (excursions)
- Interpreters

25. Direct sales
The Participant is allowed to make direct sales at the territory of the Exhibition Center only in case of
the appropriate permission receiving. The Participant will be charged for 2000 rubles per each fact of violation.
26. Force-majeure.
Both parties will be released of any obligations in case of force-majeure circumstances such as natural
disasters, fire, military or government actions, which make performing of the obligations impossible.
27. Violation of General terms and conditions of participation.
In case the Participants violate present General terms and conditions of participation the Organizer has
the right to withdraw the Contract. The Participants will not be reimbursed for remittances already made. If the
Participant does not meet any engagements the Organizer has the right to take the Participant’s property as a
pawn providing the Participant with the written notification about his intention.

28. Dispute settlement.
The Participant and the Organizer will try to settle all disputes by negotiation. All the claims will be
reviewed in 30 days. All disputes will be settled in the Sverdlovsk region Arbitral Court, if the agreement isn’t
reached during this period.
29. Information for Participant’s representatives during construction, event and dismantling periods
To order a pass to the Exhibition during construction and dismantling period address to Pass Bureau
FSE “NTIMT” – ground floor, room 18.
All documents during the Exhibition can be received in Personnel Department FSE “NTIMT” – ground
floor, room 16.
