MMAP – Field Service Rep – GRANDE Cheese Company Role/Responsibilities: MMAP Support and Communication • Provide technical support and expertise in the areas of milking team management, parlor efficiencies and employee communication • Provide technical pre-visit and follow-up support to Grande Herd Health and Wellness Veterinarian • Act as a translation specialist in all areas supporting Grande’s service package to producer dairies • Support Grande producer dairies by participating in “producer team meetings” • Develop strong peer relationships with, but not limited to veterinarians, pharmaceutical suppliers, chemical and dairy equipment suppliers. • Act as the producer/suppliers communication conduit to ensure the appropriate messaging is delivered to all levels of milk production team. • Provide management solutions to dairy producer/suppliers • Facilitate discussions and mentor other members of the milk procurement team to meet company and department goals • Educate producers and their team members on herd health, food safety, and current issues within the industry • Incent producers to improve milk quality, herd health and productivity using the MMAP service offering. • Develop training materials to support MMAP initiatives Procurement/Retention of Milk • Participate on Producer Management Team and direct appropriate resources when and where needed • Maintain producer compliance regarding regulatory inspections requirements o FDA, IMS, USDA, State Dept. of Ag, State Dept. of Health • Work with producers to ensure the milk delivery process in accordance with company policy, food safety and regulatory requirements. • Be the Grande contact to the dairy producer and other industry affiliations within assigned territory. • Participate as a resource to others on the Milk Marketing team in an effort to meet milk procurement objectives. Education, Company Promotion • Inform producer of all company procedures and policies • Inform producer of State & Federal regulation requirements and changes • Establish strong community relations within the assigned area to promote Grande • Understand marketing conditions within territory and the influences of neighboring and national market on that territory. • Participate in necessary educational forums to enhance professional skills. • Build professional relationships within specific trade associations that leverages Grande’s marketing position Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Dairy Science, Animal Science or other Agricultural field. • Minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Must have strong ties and experience in the Ag/Farm Production sectors • Ideal candidate would have work experience in the dairy, large animal pharmaceutical, dairy nutrition, or dairy equipment and chemical supply industries. • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with fluent oral and written skills required • NMC milking system evaluation experience, a plus Contact: Becki Schultz, HR Business Partner Grande Cheese Company – Home Office 301 East Main Street, Lomira, WI 53048 Phone 920-269-1496 Becki.schultz@grande.com
