Points System
It is the responsibility of the owner to record points won and to submit the completed form to the
Show Secretary Judith Sims by 31st January. Only pigs owned by Club members and with the
following form completed will be considered for this award.
POINTS
BPA Pig of the Year/Young Pig of the Year, 24; GOSPBC Champion of Champions, 15; Reserve BPA
POY/YPOY, 10; GOSPBC Southern or Northern Champion, 10; Reserve GOSPBC Champion of
Champions, 9; Supreme/Interbreed Champion, 8; Reserve Supreme/Interbreed Champion, 6; Coloured Pig
Champion, 6; BPA Pig of the Year Qualifier, 3; Reserve Coloured Pig Champion, 3; Breed Champion, 5;
Reserve Breed Champion, 4; 1st in Class, 3; 2nd in Class, 2; 3rd in Class 1.
The following shows will multiply points shown in Red awarded by a factor of 2;
Cheshire, Devon County, Lincolnshire, Great Yorkshire, Newark and Notts, Royal Berkshire, Royal Bath
and West, Royal Cornwall, Royal Norfolk, Royal Ulster, Royal Welsh, South of England, Staffordshire,
Royal Three Counties (main show).
