‘Community Champion’ Nomination Form
Each year volunteers from communities within the National Park are
honoured at the Gathering’s volunteer awards ceremony. These awards
recognise the amazing work being carried out at grassroots level in
communities across the Park, acknowledging the work of individuals and
groups within the Park who have contributed greatly to the development
and enhancement of their communities.
Please √ select from the following award category that you are nominating:
Long Standing Champion – This is in recognition of a community member
who has shown an on-going and sustained commitment to supporting
community life in their area.
Local Food Champion – A community project which has celebrated the
role local food and drink can play in community life.
Young champion of the Year – A young person who has shown the skill,
drive and determination to succeed in their chosen field.
Champion Community 2015 - a community which has shown innovation,
commitment and a community approach to improving life for those who
live in work in and visit.
