LIGHT OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS OF SPRING HEALTH LED BASED CURING LAMPS By Noureddine Melikechi Professor of Physics Delaware State University nmelikechi@gmail.com Phone: 302 943 7213 Submitted to Spring Heath Products, PA August 2011 Experimental Setup The power was measured with the Coherent Lab_Max Top Laser/Energer meter. The Diameter of the power head was smaller compared to the beamdiameter of the LED. The Data was fitter with the Erf function to find the beam waist. We noticed that the beam waist did not change significantly for the position of the power meter varying from 0mm to 4mm. Lens_ 1: Are measruement without the plastic lens. Lens _2: are measurements with the plastic lens. Note: Lens_1_Knife_Edge_n (n refers to the distance in mm between the light source and the detector.)
