The El Dorado PTA is pleased to offer El Dorado Community School students fun and exciting activities that enrich their
educational experience! A full listing of current activities can be found on following pages of this document. To register for one or
more of these wonderful activities:

Register by returning this signed waiver with participant fee one week prior to an activity’s start date
at the latest. After School Enrichment Program drop box is provided at the front desk.
Join the activity on its start date, time, and location.
Refunds will not be given after the second week of an activities start date or if a student is excused because of repeated
late pick up or behavioral issues.
Please contact Kandice Tomanek, program coordinator, at ktomanek@sfps.info with any questions.
Please note, if a participant’s registration is not complete (signed waiver and participant fee is not received one week prior to an
activity’s start date), then a pre-registered participant’s slot may be made available to other interested students who were not
approved to register because the student limit for that activity had been met.

Please help the PTA ensure child supervision by picking up your student on time. Parents/guardians MUST pick-up and sign-out
their children at the conclusion of each activity. After the third (3 rd) late pick up offense, student will not be allowed to continue
with the activity for the remainder of the session.

Ms Rohr's Open Art Studio
Instructor: Roni Rohr
Studio Art! This is a dynamic K-8th grade open studio working space. Make this art class your own with student choice-based learning. Come
into a studio atmosphere and choose between clay, watercolor, drawing, recycled art and needlework or combine them all. Older students
hone in on your drawing, cartooning, graffiti, stenciling, and inking and design skills with weekly portfolio projects assigned by Ms Rohr.







This activity will be a continuation of the Running Club at El Dorado Community School. Participants will track their mileage for prizes.
WEATHER UPDATE: If there is a little bit of rain we will meet. If inclement weather occurs you will be notified that school day of a
cancellation. Please provide a current phone number on your waiver. (Please meet Mrs. Luttrell in the school lobby after you have
changed into your running clothes and filled up your water bottle).







This activity will offer the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the American Football Skills such as:

Gardening

Learn about starting plants from seed, using a grow light and a bright window. We will also sprout seeds for eating, divide and re-pot indoor
plants, and study worm composting.







Cooking Basics
Instructors: Ms. Millie and Mrs. Dove
Students will prepare six different recipes that can be completed within an hour. Focus this first session will be salads, stir-fry’s, veggie dips
and blender drinks using seasonal ingredients. Included in that hour is sanitation and clean-up. The goal is to provide hands-on experience in
the kitchen and build confidence in preparing the students’ own food. Please refrain from picking up your children early, before the clean-up is
completed, as that is part of the cooking experience. Each week please have your child bring a reusable container to bring prepared food
home.







Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
Instructor: Aaron Perls
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu provides practical skills in self-defense. It is also a fun and challenging sport that builds strength, body awareness, and
cardiovascular endurance. Students will be encouraged to purchase a uniform (gi), which costs $35. The cost for the (gi) will need to be
brought to class the first week. Cash or check is best-made out to "BJJA of Santa Fe".







Each class students will on scrapbook pages and at the end of the session will bring home a beautiful scrapbook filled with pictures and
