(8) BRUCE THOMAS WILSHER born 30 December 1928 at Bexley, probably Mimosa
Street. - Married Joan Nancy Griffiths, born 1ST October 1929 in December 1947.
Children (1) Carolyne Joy born 6th July 1948 and married to James Stewart Moran born 2nd
March 1945 on the 3rd December 1966. They had 3 children (a) Anthony John born 10th
August 1967. He then married Jayne Varley born 9th July 1994 and they had 2 children.
Bruce’s Great Granchildren, Emily Jayne Moran born 30th November 1994 and James Oliver
Moran born 26th March 1997. (b) Mathew James born 15th May 1969, he married Sarah
Hopkins born 16th October 1999 and they had one child Harry Hopkins Moran born
November 2001. ( c) Jakki Lee born 21st May 1975, she married Andrew McNiel born 3 rd
January 1998 and they had 3 children, more Great Grandchildren for Bruce, Ardian McNiel
born 10th June 1998, Thornton McNiel born 5th January 2001 and Fergus McNiel born 22nd
May 2002.(2) Christine born 6th June 1949, but died soon after and is buried at Woronora
Cemetery, Sutherland with other baby children.C.O.E. Graves Row D 7-8 EEE.
(3) Jacqueline Heather Lucy born 4th June 1951 and married on the 26th January 1970 to
Graham George Moran born 19th February 1947. They had 2 children, Amanda Helen born
11th April 1974 and she married Andrew Hennessy on 9th November 2002. Also Belinda JoAnne Moran born 27th January 1977.Bruce’s second marriage to Evelyn Belle Phillips born
14th September 1935, married on 8 th March 1958. They had 5 children : (a) Bradley born
8th June 1958, he married Tanya Joanne Curran born 8th June 1960, on the 19th February
1982 they divorced in 1985.(b) Karen born 29th March 1961, Karen trained and became a
Nursing Sister, worked at Wellington and Bateman's Bay, NSW. (c) Grant born 10th
November 1959, he was a Chef and broke in brumby horses in the Snowy Mountains of NSW
before he died, age 41 on 26th December 2000 and is buried at the Cemetery in Jindabyne. (d)
Scott born 12th May 1969, he married Tanya born 21st September 1971. They had 2 children,
Georgia born 13th April 1996 and Cooper born 12th September 2000. Scott is a Stonemason
.(e) Craig born 29th September 1962. Bruce was born before his time, as they say, his
interests , Sea Food farming which he experienced when on sick leave in Japan, from the
Korean War. He took Oyster farming on when he returned to Australia and later moved with
his family to Tasmania to try his luck with Pacific Oysters. Times, growing problems and lack
of finances were against him and he returned to Sydney disappointed . He also experimented
with Prawn Farming in his younger days, but again, without backing , this did not get off the
ground. As we know these types of farming are now thriving in Tasmania and the mainland.of
Australia.

(9) JOY MARY WILSHER: born 17th April 1931at Smith Street Bexley married Robert
Milne born 29th January 1921 at St.John’s COE Rockdale on 13th January 1951. They had 3
children. (a) Lynette Mary born 1st February 1952 married to Paul Taylor born 18th April
1947. They had 2 children Joshua born 4th April 1980 and Luke born 6th November 1981.
(b) Gregory Robert George born 8th September 1953 married Elaine Irena Supel born 15th
July 1955 on 10th April 1982. They had 2 children Lennard born 4th February 1983, he has a
partner (
). And Tianna Lee born in 1985 but died as a baby and buried with other
babies in Grandmother Duttons grave at Sutherland Cemetery. COE Row 7 –8 EEE. She died
20th February 1948 (64). Also on this headstone is a memorial for Mum’s brother W.A.
Dutton killed in France in 1915 and our brother George killed accidentally whilst flying in the
RAAF during 1943.
(c) Bronwyn Joy born 26th November 1955 married to Albert Tory born 1st September 1949
at the COE Church in Cronulla on 10 h July 1976. Albert has three boys from his previous
marriage, Grant, Ashley and Luke.Bronwyn and Albert had three children. Kurtis Robert
born 17 th August 1979, Carla Mary born 25th February 1981 and Rebecca Patricia 4th
January 1986. Albert manages the “TORY” TOYOTA Car Sales yards in Albion Park Rail
and Wollongong.
