Brief description on participant’s Organization
Green Business Norway is a professional member-based organization for the Norwegian
Environmental and Renewable Technology Industry. Our Priority areas are Water
Management with a special focus on Integrated Water Monitoring, Surveillance and
Forecasting, Waste management and renewable energy.
2. Sector of activities of participant’s Organization
Green Business Norway acts as a resource base to the Norwegian Cleantech Industry with
in- house knowledge and expertise related to integrated marine and inland water
management. As a member based organization Green Business Norway works closely with
our member businesses providing best practice technologies and solutions to public,
institutional and private end users in the integrated marine and inland water sector.

Interested to meet with potential partners that have national responsibility(ies) related to
coastal and inland water monitoring and forecasting with relevant operational
responsibilities related to:

integrated management of marine and inland water resources
Improved monitoring of marine waters
Increased capacity for assessing and predicting environmental status in marine
and inland waters
5. Please describe what you expect from the potential project partner from Bulgaria
1. Interest to collaborate on both soft measures and implementation of improved
infrastructure for coastal and inland water monitoring and forecasting
2. Capability to undertake a project in accordance with the Programme intentions
3. Interest to explore the possibilities and possibly undertake an integrated project or
multiproject covering two or more of the sub-topics in the coastal and inland water
monitoring and forecasting programme.
6. Please describe what you can offer to potential project partner from Bulgaria
1: Expertise based on more than 25 years of international experience in operational
oceanography and inland water monitoring and forecasting.
2: Knowledge about best practice solutions from the Norwegian experts and potential
providers of best available and relevant solutions for coastal and inland water monitoring
and forecasting.
