Grammar and vocabulary to improve ‘Business English’.
The below lesson plan is to give Jorge the knowledge and skills to be able
to carry out business in an English speaking country, or travel abroad for
business trips. Jorge will be finishing college soon, and hopes to work in
the hotel management industry in the U.S, so he wants to improve his
written and spoken English. He has also specified that he needs to learn
how to do up his CV in the correct way, and wants to improve on his
interview skills.

Jorge grew up with an English-speaking parent, so while he is confident in
his oral communication, he feels still feels there is much room for
improvement on formal conversation. He also studied English throughout
high school, but he felt there was little time spent on grammar structures
such as; model verbs, invitations & promises, and future & past
progressive). Jorge has also expressed that he needs to expand on his
vocabulary surrounding travel, and Food (countable and uncountable
nouns) .
