Student Council –Starting in Fall 2010 Raclin School of the Arts announces that it is accepting
applications for student members to a new exciting program at IU South Bend.
Each academic year 2 students from all applicants will be chosen to participate in the Raclin
School of the Arts Student Council. The Student Council will meet with the Dean on a regular
basis. To be considered for this council please read the following information. Interested
applicants should submit their resumes, applications, and responses to Jorge Muniz no later than
February 15, 2011. Please type responses and staple them to the application. Limit responses to 3
pages, single-spaced. Also, please send an electronic copy of your application to Jorge Muniz at:
jormuniz@iusb.edu No late petitions will be accepted.
We sincerely appreciate your interest and hope to see your resume and application in our
decision making meeting. In order to make this process as smooth as possible, we encourage
you to return this application as quickly as you can so we can begin reviewing the applications
ASAP.
Selections will be announced, via email, as soon as we have reviewed all applicants.
Please attach a resume to your application; we look forward to candid responses on the
questions.
