WET LABS, SEMINAR & TRADE SHOW
FOR EQUINE VETERINARIANS
SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 4th & 5th
Morristown, NJ, May 27, 2011 – First Choice Marketing today announced plans to host
the 12th Annual Hambletonian Continuing Education Seminar for Equine Veterinarians, to
be held in conjunction with the 86th Hambletonian Festival of Racing in East Rutherford,
NJ. Over the past eleven years, this veterinary meeting has grown to become the 3rd
largest regional equine veterinary CE meeting in the country.
The 6h Annual Continuing Education Wet Labs program will take place at the
Meadowlands Racetrack on Thursday, August 4, 2011, with sessions running from 8:00
AM to 12:00 Noon and 1:00 to 5:00 PM. Participants will have a choice among twenty
credit hours offered. Transportation and lunch will be provided. There will be a $350 fee
per half-day session or $600 for two half-day sessions. Participation in these intensive,
hands-on sessions is limited. Sessions will include:
 Brian Gilger, DVM, MS, DACVO – Ophthalmic Examination, Ophthalmic Nerve Blocks,
and Placement of Subpalpebral Lavage Catheters (Half-day lab sponsored by Pfizer
Animal Health)

 Alex Valdés-Martínez – Equine Musculoskeletal Radiography and Equine

The Hambletonian Continuing Education Seminar program will take place on Friday,
August 5, 2011 from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and
Conference Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Veterinary Seminar participants
attend free of charge, and will select from twelve continuing education credit hours
offered.
The Hambletonian Continuing Education Wet Labs and Seminar programs have been
approved by the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA) and the New Jersey
Association of Equine Practitioners (NJAEP).
