Terry L. Blanchard, DVM, MS, DACT Dr. Terry Blanchard received his DVM from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1976. He is a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists and a Professor at Texas A&M University. His special interests include theriogenology and ambulatory emergency, stallion and mare reproduction, management strategies to improve stallion fertility, and stallion testicular dysfunction. Carol K. Clark, DVM, DACVIM Dr. Carol Clark graduated from Texas A&M University in 1991 She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Clark joined Peterson & Smith in 1996 to run the equine neonatal ICU, and manage the hospital’s internal medicine cases, becoming partner in 2004. Her major clinical interests include neonatology, neurology, cardiology, and ophthalmology. Elizabeth M. Santschi, DVM, DACVS Dr. Liz Santschi received her DVM from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and currently works as Professor of equine surgery at Kansas State University. Dr. Santschi’s primary interest is in orthopedic diseases of juvenile horses. This includes disorders such as osteochondrosis and subchondral bone cysts, septic arthritis, and angular and flexural limb deformities. Other areas of interest include performance horse injury and fracture repair.
