Stage Manager/Front of House General Requirements and Front of House: Get in time: Three hours before the start of the first performance. Get out: Approx. one and half hours after the show. Start times: As per the contract. Interval times: 45 minutes after start (20 minute interval unless otherwise agreed). Finish times: 30 minutes after end of the interval. Dressing rooms: Preferably two rooms, space for four cast (We will need access to changing rooms and toilets separate from toilets which the audience use). It would be ideal for the cast to have the keys to the dressing rooms. Parking: We will require parking for one Ford Galaxy Staff: We will require your ushers to guide the audience and prevent children accessing the stage or backstage area. Technical Crew: Lighting technician to set up and operate lights. The cast will operate their own sound cues. Assistance will be needed with hanging the backdrop where appropriate. We should not require any crew for the get out, other than with the removal of the backdrop. Merchandise: We have a souvenir stall which we would like placed in a visible site in the foyer or other appropriate area. The cast normally sell souvenirs themselves. The company manager will be in touch to confirm these details and discuss any other requirements. The following pages are intended for your technical manager. Page 1 For the attention of the Technical Manager Riverbank Productions The Adventures of Robin Hood We will be arriving three hours before the first show. Please let us know if there are any problems with access (e.g. parking, steps, etc.) Steps: One set of steps required from stage into auditorium. Backdrop: Our backdrop is 8 Metres wide with an 6 Metre drop. Although this can be folded under at the bottom and in at the sides. Masking: Screens, blacks, flats or legs are required for extra masking. General: A 13 amp power supply on or near the stage. Back stage working light required. Talkback system to talk to LX if possible. Lighting We will need one person to operate lights during the show from our marked script. If you have a talk back system this will be very useful to communicate with our stage manager who, this year, is mostly dressed as a very fat monk . The Following lighting states are our ideal states but we are very flexible. The lighting consists of the following states 1. 2. 3. 4. General wash (Bright and sunny day) Whites Red Yellows Evening in the Forest (Darker blues and greens) Night Time ( Blue) Break up for leafy forest effect if available We will need working lights and a clear cross-over throughout the show. Page 2 Sound We will bring a i-pod,to patch into your system via our passive sound desk We will provide four radio mics/receivers for use as appropriate and our mixing desk to patch into your system via two xlr leads. L&R We normally position our sound desk stage left and patch into the house sound system via the stage box or directly into your desk. We can send from our desk via 2 x XLR or 2 mono quarter inch jacks. Where possible please provide a set of speakers fold back monitors please. Tabs Whilst we have open tabs at the top of the show, if possible we would ask for Tabs to be drawn at the interval to allow us to re-set for the second act.
