TIER II INTERVENTION CHECKLIST The purpose of targeted interventions (Tier II) are to identify students who are at risk for not reaching behavior standards and provide sufficient and appropriate systematic instruction so that students’ performance rapidly reaches or exceeds established standards thereby preventing school failure. Tier II Interventions typically involve adjusting/increasing time and adding support.
