Dr. Csilla Sárdi Autumn 2015 EFL Practice 1 BBNAN10500 Aims and content of course: The course aims at enhancing students’ communicative competence in order to help them become competent in English and sucessfully pass parts 1.2 and 2 of their comprehensive exam (see below) at the end of the first year of their study programme. The focus is on the following: advanced vocabulary building, grammar review, reading skills, writing and speaking. In order to achive these aims, students will be given opportunities to engage in tasks and discuss topics similar to those of the comprehensive exam.
