Food Voice Narrative 150 points [15% of final grade] Due February 19th Food voice narratives are one way of exploring and communicating connections between individual and collective histories. Stories about, or told through, food can create a new vocabulary for describing social relations. Food narratives also offer opportunities to use the authority of individual subjectivities to reframe or re-tell history. Gastropolis offers several examples of food voice narratives. Use these examples as models for crafting your own narrative in which you use food to reflect on identity and your connection to the history of (im)migration. Narratives should be 2-3 pages long.
