It will be held Tues. – Thurs., Dec. 8th – 10th. There will be a PTO “working meeting” on Dec. 7th at 3:30pm to set up the Santa Shop. Parent Volunteers are needed to help students shop and wrap presents. The “A” team lost a “thriller” 25-23 on a last shot attempt at the buzzer. Although the loss put their record at 5-5 for the season, the effort put forth was immaculate. Every girl gave 110%. The “A” team was led by Courtney Austin who had 13 rebounds and 5 steals. Megan DeWeese had 4 rebounds. Nikki Johnson grabbed 5 boards and 2 steals. Hannah Napper had 1 steal and 1 rebound while Makayla Haverstock and Emily Quillen each had 1 steal, and 1 board. Great, Great Effort!!! The “B” team won 7-4 improving their record 3-7 and avenging an earlier season defeat at English. Milltown was led by Kiley Smith who had 4 rebounds, 5 steals and 1 assist. The “A” team ended the season on a winning note, beating Patoka 29-13 and finishing the regular season 6-5. The team was led by Megan DeWeese’s 11 rebounds and 3 steals. Courtney Austin added 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Makayla Haverstock had 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Nikki Johnson had 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Hannah Napper had 3 boards and 1 steal. Emiley Cox and Emily Quillen each had a rebound and 2 steals. The “A” team will prepare for the county tourney which will be held at Milltown. Congratulations on a successful season, Girls! The “B” team lost 13-4 and ended the season at 3-8. The girls worked really hard over the season and showed tons of improvement. The coaching staff is very happy with your work ethic.
