No 3 – Friday 19th September 2014
Dear Parents and Carers
COMPUTER MOUSES WANTED!
STAFF NEWS
Congratulations to Mrs Keay, who is expecting a
baby in the New Year! I am pleased to be able to
tell you that Mrs Kennedy, who teaches in the
Foundation Stage unit on Thursdays and Fridays,
will be able to cover most of Mrs Keay’s
maternity leave. We will shortly be advertising
for a part-time teacher to cover the remaining
days in the unit. Given Mrs Keay’s condition, could
you please inform the school office if your child
has any exposure to rubella, chicken pox or
hepatitis.
PARENTS’ FORUM POSTPONED!!!
The first Parents’ Forum of the year will now take
place on Monday 29th September at 2.45 pm in
the hall. All parents are welcome to come along
and have a cuppa and a chance to air their views
with me and the other parents on anything in
school – good or bad. We would particularly
welcome feedback from our new parents on what
they think of the school and on anything that
they think could be done better. We hold these
meetings once a term and they finish by 3.15 pm.
TRAVELLING BOOK FAYRE HERE NEXT WEEK
Do you have any unwanted computer mouses?
The school would be grateful for any donations,
as some of the younger children are struggling to
use the built-in mouses on our new laptops.
BIKEABILITY
Well done to the 12 children in Years 5 and 6 who
successfully completed their Bikeability course
