March 2010 Newsletter
Dear Parents and Students,
Can you believe it? It is recital time again. Our Spring Performance is the company’s biggest event with 4
consecutive sold out performances. It is a great time for students to demonstrate their growth to parents,
family, and friends and to enjoy the experience of dancing on stage.
It is also a special year which will be commemorating 5 years of business in the Vail Community.
This newsletter covers information regarding the Spring Performance that will ensure a smooth and

SPRING PERFORMANCE
Studio One’s Spring Performance is the company’s biggest event this semester. It is not mandatory for
students to participate, but given permission by your legal guardian or with your own consent if 18 or older,
you will be allowed to perform and experience this fun and great tradition.
Students will perform what they have learned over the semester. All participating students MUST
ATTEND the Technical Rehearsal. Tickets for the Spring Performance will be open for purchase to the
public in May for $8.00 each.
2 FREE TICKETS for the Spring Show will be given for each student participating.

* Students will be blocked out by their classes. They will not need to be there the entire time.
RECITAL FEE
There is a $25.00 NON REFUNABLE Recital fee that each student must pay to participate in the recital.
This fee covers all of the costs to rent the theater, the theater staff, use of the lighting and music. The recital
fee goes to all the costs to rent the theater. You will also receive 2 TICKETS FOR THE WINTER SHOW.
The Recital Fee is due March 15th . This ensures your child’s place in the recital.
COSTUMES
Each class will also be ordering a costume for their performance. You must order a costume in order to
participate in the recital. The costumes are ordered from New York City and are non- returnable/nonrefundable after purchase.
Your child will be using the same costume they used in the winter recital. If you are new or your child
moved classes you must purchase a new costume.
We do understand that costume payments can get costly in the current economy so we ensure you that the
costumes are made with great, care and quality and will be used for all of their performances for the entire
2009-2010 season. We want our kids to look wonderful and professional for the recital. I promise that
Studio One tries its best to find the best quality costume for a low affordable price.

COSTUMES PAID LATE WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $5.00 PER COSTUME PER
MONTH LATE. Costume payments are due March 15th.
If you have any questions, concerns, or need special arrangements for costume payments please come and
speak to us.
TIGHTS
We also have been hearing from a lot of parents that tights are very difficult to find. Studio One will now
be ordering tights for you. Tights for kids are $8.00 and adults $10.00. These are dance quality tights. If
you would like to order from us, the tights must be paid in full.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
LATE TUITION – Tuition payments made after the 15th will be charged a $20.00 late fee. All tuition
payments must be received or post marked by the 15 th to not be considered late.
PICKING UP AND DROPPING OFF- Please make sure to drop off and pick up your child during their
correct time. For their safety it is very important that parents pick up their children immediately. We are
concerned for their safety. We would also appreciate that parents do not leave younger/older siblings
unattended at the studio.
