Students will describe the function of each type of tissue in order to explain how tissues interact
within organisms.
Brief Description of the Activity
Use TissuesResource ([[r1]]) instead of Student Resource Sheet LE-23 #6. Students read from
the text and complete a graphic organizer to represent their reading (teacher may want to have
students work in pairs or groups of 3). Once students have completed their organizers, they
should be peer reviewed by someone who did not work with them. Return to Student Resource
Sheet LE-23 for #7 and beyond.
