1. Contract for:- Off-take of various types of unusable cotton/poly
waste with other scrap of the Plant.
Tender forms for Waste/Scrap may be obtained from above
mentioned office address on any working day by paying cash or
DD
Rs 300/-each.
The tender documents can also be
downloaded from website- www.kvic.org.in . The filled-in tenders
duly sealed by super scribing “Tender for” with earnest money
Rs.50,0000/- through demand draft only in favour of Central Sliver
plant ,Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Etah must be
submitted by 23.12.2013 till 05.30 pm on above mentioned address.
The tender will be opened on 24.12.2013 at 11.30 am . Interested
parties may visit the Plant on any working day for physical
verification if required. Central Sliver Plant, Khadi & V.I. Commission,
Etah reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without
assigning any reason .

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OFFTAKE OF WASTE/SCRAP
It is well aware that the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) a statutory body created by an
Act of Parliament (No.61 of 1956 and as amended by Act No.12 of 1987) and functioning presently under Ministry
of Micro, Small & Medium Entrprises, Govt. of India. Central Sliver Plant, Etah is a unit of KVIC supplying raw
material to certified Khadi Institutions involving in employment generation programme throughout the country.
For off-taking its various types of unusable cotton/poly waste and other scraps, quotations from the reputed
buyers/registered traders for annual contract are required as per the terms & conditions appended bellows :1- Type of Waste/Scraps with tentative quantity.

2- Off take of waste/scrap :The buyer has to arrange for off-take of waste/scrap on its own cost with loading/unloading & packing items
etc. from our Plant i.e. FOR-Etah within one week period from the confirmation date on monthly basis or
whenever required. All taxes applicable will be the responsibility of the buyer. However From “C” may be
accepted against CST.
3- Payments terms :
Payments will be accepted in advance through demand draft only favouring Central Sliver Plant, Khadi & V.I.
Commission payable at Etah (U.P.)-207001
4- Income/Sales Tax Clearance :
All tenderors have to submit copies of registration of Firm, Sales Tax and Income tax etc. alongwith the
latest cleareance certificate of Sales & Income tax. Original may be checked at the time of tendering.
5- Earnest-Money :
All tenderors have to furnish an earnest money of Rs 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) in the form of
Demand Draft of any nationalized bank favouring Central Sliver Plant, KVIC payable at Etah with the tender
application on letter head of the firm which will be refunded to non-accepted and that of accepted tender will
be adjusted in security deposit.
6- Security Deposit :
Accepted party have to deposit an additional amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees forty thousands only) for interest
free security deposit of total worth Rs. 60,000/- which will be kept at Plant till expiry of the contract.
7- Arbitraction :
Any dispute arising out of the contract while placing the order will be solely decided by a Arbitrator appointed
by the Buyer. In such case, provision of Arbitrating and Reconciliation Act shall apply to such arbitration
proceedings. The place or arbitration shall be at the office of the Buyer.
After submission of tender, no modification in tendered rate or withdrawal of tender shall be allowed. Such
action shall be liable to forfeiture of EMD.
