Thirteen experts from three different continents and CDVR faculty will present and discuss their work on genomics, molecular genetics, population genetics and vaccine discovery for a wide range of vector-borne diseases in humans and plants. The symposium welcomes students, postdoctoral fellows and other researchers to participate in this stimulating event on March 27th and 28th, 2010 in the Genomics Auditorium, Rm 1102A. Prospective presenters should submit a title of poster presentation to joao.pedra@ucr.edu at the time of registration. Poster Preparation Poster presentations should include a Title, Author Name(s) with presenting author’s name underlined, Summary, Results and Conclusions. It should be prepared on a single sheet, approximately 4' (120 cm) wide and 3' (90 cm) high. Mounting materials including pins will be provided. You will be informed about your placement no later than March 25th, 2010. Recommended poster setup times are 7:30-8:30 AM and Lunch, 12:00 -1:30 PM.
