WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 23-8(2), Professional Services, of the City of

Hallandale Beach Code of Ordinances, contracts for professional services involving
17
peculiar skill, ability, experience or expertise, which are in their nature unique and not
18
subject to competitive bidding, are exempt from the competitive bidding requirements of
19
this article however, a formal written contract, approved by the commission, shall be
20
required for all such contracts in excess of twenty-five thousand ($25,000.00) dollars;

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF
THE
CITY
OF
HALLANDALE
BEACH,
FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH DEBBIE
ABENMOHA FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES DURING THE
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ENTERPRISE RESOURCE
PLANNING (ERP) PROJECT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
TEN THOUSAND ($10,000.00) DOLLARS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City retained the services of Ms. Debbie Abenmoha as a Senior
Accountant through a Professional Services Agreement; and

WHEREAS, as senior accountant, Ms. Abenmoha has provided assistance with
27
departmental daily operations including audit services, account reconciliations and ERP
28
Project accounts set up and validations; and

WHEREAS, staff is requesting authorization to amend the professional services
31
agreement by increasing the contract amount by ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars, for a
32
total contract amount of thirty five thousand ($35,000.00) dollars; and

WHEREAS, the City Administration recommends authorization to execute and
35
Amendment to the agreement with Debbie Abenmoha for senior accountant professional
36
services during the implementation of the enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Project in
37
an amount not to exceed ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars, for a total contract amount
38
of thirty five thousand ($35,000.00) dollars; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission have determined that it is in the

best interest of the residents and the administration of the City of Hallandale Beach to
42
execute and Amendment to the agreement with Debbie Abenmoha for senior accountant

professional services during the implementation of the enterprise Resource Planning
44
(ERP) Project in an amount not to exceed ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollars, for a total
45
contract amount of thirty five thousand ($35,000.00) dollars.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF HALLANDALE BEACH, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1. City Manager Authorization. The Mayor and City Commission

hereby authorize the City Manager to execute and Amendment to the agreement with
52
Debbie Abenmoha for professional services during the implementation of the enterprise
53
Resource Planning (ERP) Project in an amount not to exceed ten thousand ($10,000.00)
54
dollars, for a total contract amount of thirty five thousand ($35,000.00) dollars.

SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage
and adoption.
